What differentiates an Android device from an iphone?

Android devices and iphones are two completely different things. iphones are meant to run ios and that is it, where as on androids you can install different operating systems such as cyanagen mod and a few others. Its all up the person who is using it and what they would like to use as their software on their phone. iphone are meant for a consumer who does is not that tech savy and does not want to change anything on their phone, someone who doesnt know how to flash software and applications to their phone via their computer. On the other hand androids are meant for the people who are extremely tech savy and know how to flash programs onto their phone and who know how to root their phone, developers prefer android because of the ease of accessibility it has to its files. Most android phones hardware wise are always better than iphones, of course a 100 dollar android phone will not be better than an iphone, people always use " androids" as a general term and that is where people get misconceptions on them. High end android phones are almost always better than iphones hardware wise, software wise of course is just a personal preference. Android for the most part have expandable storage and a removable battery where as iphones do not, some do not find this important but being able to buy a 16gb version of a phone and then put in a 128gb micro sd card is a lot cheaper than having to buy a 128gb version in the first place, and also have a removable battery is also nice because if you buy another battery you can have both charged and then when one runs out you can juts put in the other one, its great for when you are on a long trip or a drive and your phone dies but you don't have any way of charging it. iphones are not a bad phone by any means, and to many they are "the best phones out there" but in my personal opinion iphones are overrated and their operating system is plain and boring. Funny enough iphones have parts from other companies, the processor is manufactured from Samsung and Tsmc, the battery is made by Motorolla and the camera is made by Sony. Many people complain that Androids are complicated to use, but in reality they are very simple, and if you don't like the way the operating system looks, you can always download free launchers which change the appearance of your phone. Heck you can even make it look like ios if you' like (don't know why you would want to do that) but its an option to those that say they don't like the complexity of androids. Also most high end Androids have better cameras than iphones, high end androids have been shooting 4k video for the past 3 years where as apple barely implemented that into their phone this year with the ihpone 7. Same goes for screen resolution, iphones until recently barely had a 720p resolution. Where as androids have had 1080p screen resolutions for some 5 or 6 years and 1440p screen resolutions for the past 2 years. Apple really needs to step their game up. Apple has kept their phones relatively the same for the past couple years other than removing the headphone jack (which was completely stupid on their part because their laptops still have their headphone jack, c'mon apple make up your mind) and the funny part is that apple says they had to remove the headphone jack because their phone is too thin, but there are thinner phones that still have the headphone jack. Androids for the most part have been changing every generation for the better, better camera better screen better processor etc etc. iphones will never compare to androids, only reason people buy iphones is for the logo and because they are unedcated.
