Sony fdr-x3000: The sony action cam (fdr-x3000) is a rugged waterproof camera thats main competitor is gopro. Although gopro may be more popular in the world of action cameras, the sony action cam is better in almost every category. It has a better sensor, it has optical image stabilization as opposed to digital on gopro's end which is not as good, and it has carl zeiss glass. One category gopro take the advantage is in form factor, the gopro's body is smaller and is flat with a lens sticking out of it, whereas the sony action cam looks like a miniature cam corder in terms of shape, still not that much bigger than the gopro, but the different orientation may make people consider otherwise when thinking about purchasing. Overall the sony action cam is a better camera in terms of video quality itself, but size and lack of mounts may steer the buyer off.
KrK Rokit 6's Krk rokit 6's are powered studio monitors that are meant to reproduce accurate sound. They have crisp high's, good mid's and deep and thumping low end. They are mainly for people who create music and need to hear accurately what they are making, but they are also for the music lover that want to hear things in their favorite songs that they have never heard before. They are power studio monitors meaning they do not need an amp to be powered, but they do still sound better with one. They are on the more expensive side since they are meant for professionals, running about 250 each one, not to mention an audio interface is needed to connect them to a computer. overall they are great and if you love music and have the money then they are no doubt going to make listening or making music very enjoyable.

Music Reviews
Steve Aoki live: San Jose State University& Soma San Diego
Steve aoki is a chinese-american music producer and world famous dj. His shows are amazing and very funny but can get a little bit hectic sometimes. people push and shove to try and get in front since all of his concerts are only mosh-pit, its always first come first serve when it comes to "seating". He throws out cakes into the crowd and also puts inflatable rafts into the crowd and has people climb in, he calls it white people rafting. His type of music and concert style is more directed towards younger people, but there is no reason someone older could enjoy his music and performances if they are up for it. One thing though is to make sure you dont wear anything to hot because jumping up and down with thousands of people for 4 hours gets extremely tiring.
Hippie Sabotage live: Majestic Ventura Theater
Hippie sabotage is an electronic music producer and dj combo made up of two brothers. Their shows are also amazing and full of fun and good times, they are also more targeted toward the younger audience, but not too young as during their shows they occasionally use drugs, they are meant for the mature young. They have bright colored lights that flash and cool laser beams that make cool patterns and move during their performances. Again it gets extremely hot jumping up and down for 4 or 5 hours nonstop so make sure you bring water and make sure to not wear something that is hot.

Movie Reviews
The way way back: 2013
The way way back is a funny and inspirational movie that many people can relate to. The main character Duncan goes away on a summer vacation with his mom and her new boyfriend whom he hates. It was a well crafted movie that gets the viewer to sympathize with Duncan because of the problems that he has. The way way back is a family movie that everyone will enjoy because of the variety throughout the movie. The movie is not just funny and inspirational but also has some action making it an all around great movie that anyone can enjoy regardless of their genre preference.
Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift: 2006
The main character Sean is as lonely high-schooler who gets in trouble frequently from racing, and because of all the trouble he gets in, he must move to his fathers place in tokyo and stay with him. He has to attend school in tokyo and learn a new lifestyle. His previous life of racing and getting into trouble comes back to haunt him in tokyo. This is a great movie filled with tons of action and the occasional romantic part, although it is mainly an action move, all types of people can enjoy it.

Restaurant Reviews
in-n-out Burger: 4865 Calle Real, Goleta, CA 93111
A favorite place by all local people from santa barbara and beyond. In-n-out burger has made a name for itself as one of the best burger joints around. The menu is what you would expect from a burger place, it includes burgers of course, shakes, fries and in-n-out has its own secret menu that you can look up for some hidden goodies. In-n-out burger is a reasonably priced burger joint, but one thing to note is that LINES ARE LONG! Although it is a fast food place and is meant to go in get your food then out(see what I did there) the lines are always at least 10 minutes long, during lunch rush they sometimes can surpass 30 minutes. In-n-out's exterior and interior are nicely designed and is a fairly clean burger place when it comes to things such as bathrooms. All in all in-n-out is a great burger joint that may take you a few extra minutes to get your food, but when you do you its all worth it.
Outback Steakhouse: Calle Real Shopping Center, 5690 Calle Real, Goleta, CA 93117
AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE! The outback steakhouse may offend Australian native's because of the american spin-off of Australian foods. There's no such thing as a bloomin' onion, but we as Americans don't care because it tastes good and that is all that matters. Don't expect to go to the outback for a quick meal, they take their time there and believe me, it's worth it. Although it can be a bit pricey depending on what you order, for the most part it is relatively cheap when you take into consideration that it is in fact an actual restaurant not a fast food place. And if you're one who is conscious about calories, then maybe the outback is not the place to go, seeing as their bloomin onion has over 2 thousand calories alone, and their fettuccine pasta has over 15 hundred. Overall I would say the outback is a great place when you have a special occasion and is fairly priced if you ordere the right thing.
